MUSONIC 100WC

CREAK...CREAK...CREAK went their betraying footsteps across the dilapidated floor in the neglected house. Suddenly, the ground shook like a hurricane was only in one house. It wasn’t there in the abandoned room that looked like it was a sewer. As soon as possible we dashed out like an arrow aimed at one thing; the doors closed. It was there; looking at us his were eyes full of betrayal. Help was on its way. Azaam , who was a dark cloaked man, peered at us through is petrifying eyes. The doors were gammed despair air was trapped knocking on the window we couldn’t get out! Rohan & Abubakker

The Disastrous Day As the old, brown door opened to them, their footsteps hit the floor. The ground shook. One footstep stepped into the haunted house. The wind ushered them in, BANG.... the door shut; at this point it was too late for them to escape. As the cloak released from the ugly thing, his letters spun down the stairs like a typhoon. “GET OUT OF HERE,” “LEAVE,” the letters bellowed. The window shot open; out of nowhere, a boy flew in. WSHHHH. With him, he had a sharp knife on his back. He shouted, “I’m the only one that will save you.” MIM AQ

The Unknown ?...

The Unknown?... While fleeing, feeling scared, we met an unusual person who didn’t look like a customary human. I stopped. Suddenly it started to go leaden and the wind was breezing, trying to push me to the abnormal person. Consequently, while Lily was just standing there staring at me, the person said hello in a brutal way. HH A murder of black pigeons sawed over my head. The strange figure, who was asking us questions, mysteriously whilst revealing his ,true ,identity and started to preach closer and closer. Pinch by pinch nerves enter my body and made Lily turn a yellowy pale colour........ ST

MusoMic 100 WC As soon as we saw its monstrous face, we realized we were in his fearful grasp! We didn’t think; we didn’t stop and we didn’t care. Terrified, we darted towards shelter. A strange figure stood before us, which looked incredibly... superior. “I heard there was a beast on the loose,” the figure spoke. ” We are detectives who are trying to capture ‘it’,” I told her. “ I’m agent zero at your service.” Rushing, the three of us, gazed for the mysterious monster, which could have been lurking anywhere. In the clearing, we hesitated to stop in its territory; we didn’t dare... AH and HR

Slowly, as the wind pushed them back, a voice grabbed their attention. “Don’t go in or else.”A spark triggered in their amygdales, giving them a shiver of fear as they took their first feet forward. A terrifying face materialised before them. Déjà vu. They knew they had seen this face. Both Sally and Daniel took a movement that they would soon regret; as the wooden floor curled up, the body of a young mislead man they had tried to forget about named Bob appeared. Bill, a teenage boy, with his friend Lucy, were scared as ever. Charlie, Bill’s friend, got a phone call, from bill... “H...H...HELP! Charlie, we need help come to the haunted house down the street.” As soon as possible, Charlie arrived Bill was gone... Charlie found a torch, “mysterious” he said. He went in the Haunted House he was terrified, at first but then he was brave enough to enter the haunted house. BUT THEN... HT & AM

Letter to Phillipines

Dear Filipino child,
I know you’ve been in a typhoon and it must be very hard for you. I can’t imagine how it felt but I am sure you are a very brave child. You must be homeless and alone after the typhoon . I don’t know how you search for your food. It must be intensely terrifying seeing your house being destroyed and seeing family and friends die in pain. No school, no food, no clothes, no family and friends. Don’t think to bad things will change. Best wishes F.A and I.Y X-O-X-O

The Typhoon

Courage... Hope ... Strength... that’s what you have got; you have much more of it inside you all. Aid is coming, we are trying hard, and you will survive, with the strength in side you all. When the storm came it affected your life, it took away your needs. The typhoon, which has displaced homes, can be seen out of space, immediately affected your life yet you are coping in this dire condition; keep it up! You are standing tall to this typhoon. It may be a nuisance although my hopes for you are over the moon. Courage... Hope... Strength. Friday 22nd Novmber AA AH

Letter to Philippines

Dear Filipino Child,

We all know how hard it was for you; you are so brave. I’m sure you were so petrified. Some of you have been so hungry for the last week. Everybody feels for you, we hope it doesn’t come again. I know that you have been suffering without water or shelter all of you were heartbroken. You must of been shocked looking at houses being destroyed and people dying you must be furious. However, you must be thankful that you didn’t die. You’ve been amazing so far keep it up hopefully none of your family members have died. BY AB AND AK

To the Filipinos

To the Filipinos We know you are frightened of the typhoon and you have been very brave to go against it; that is a very good thing to do. You should be happy that you survived because then you wouldn’t be in so much pain. We will try our best to help you by encouraging you to be educated and reach perfection; we know you can do it so keep it up. You know that you want to stay away from the disaster so just carry on with your normal life and things would start to change better in you. FROM HAMZAH AND AZEEM

Amar 100WC Remembering

100 word challenge Four years of death, many of my friends died; in that terrifying war, survivors had no hope of living. We nearly made it; it was just a trick. That day wasn’t a good day to die; a person should never experience that day in their life. After the war, there was something I came across in my life and that was a red poppy. On the eleventh of November I celebrate that day but every time I go it screws me up inside; it reminds me when I was inside that war and there was nothing to help......

Alex 100WC Rememrance

Remembering The doctors and children walked onto the battle field only to be let down. Bodies lay on the floor. Corn looked like he had just got out of a swimming pool; his tears drenched him; Corn had never been so devastated. He searched corner to corner; climbed hill to hill trying to find his strong and brave father. His brain was full of thoughts, but when he looked down, he saw a plant ‘The poppy.”He wore this on his head. He heard footsteps ... Could it be... “Daddy!”

Remembrance Hasan 100WC

Remembrance As the wind rustled heavily, all the brave survivors, who fought in the war, were painfully hurt. Boom... all the survivors fought like wolves hunting their food. As people ran for their lives; tanks that were destroying, stuff, destroyed everything. Run! Everyone shouted; everyone was so scared they had to run. There were so many injuries: hearts broken; gun shots and many scars. All people had to move away to be safe. But all the plants were destroyed, except a red and beautiful flower: the poppy. After the war, everyone now stands in a circle. They stay quiet for 2 minutes. They wear a poppy.

Ayesha

Remembrance Dear Charlie, I am writing to you to see if you are all right. Luckily, you’re not ill or anything. Hopefully, everything is ok, I’ve been hearing lots about you on TV and I hope you’re not going to fall ill. Please don’t get hurt. Another reason, why I was going to write to you is to ask you when you are coming back? Your children, mischievous Amy and kind Anna, have been waiting to see you. You are always working so hard to save our country. Well done!!!!!

Remembrance 100WC Mohammed

Remembrance The guns and tanks went BOOM, BANG. That was four years of my life that was horrible. The world war started in 1914; it ended in 1918. I remember tanks were blowing everything up. Families were also torn apart; it was disgusting. At first we reigned the battlefield, but then lots of our soldiers died. Lots of civilians died as well. The war ended, but it left so many scars on people’s hearts which were left behind. We remember the soldiers that passed away in the war. Poppies, the first plants that grew after the world war, now watch over the battlefield.

hamzah and alex 100 words

Due to the fact that the water was dirty, as soon as I looked back I saw in the river, two dirty legs (which looked like it was from someone) drowning in the river; it told me that this person was drowning when they were canoeing. ‘BLUB BLUB’
I felt like the person who was drowning needed help, so I decided I would do exactly that, but as I was pulling, I heard steps from behind. I felt skin touching me, saying to let go... It was my MUM TRYING TO FIND ME ALL THAT TIME! It was a prank!

A chunky child called Tom. Tom was sprinting as fast as he could to the park, just before he came across something in the, dirty old and green pond.

He was thinking in his little brain what is that. He thought it was someone in the water drowning. He was confused. What should I do he thought.

Tom was an expert at swimming. So he decided to jump in the freezing, rusty pond to save him. He took his jumper off and dived in the water to save him. He rescued him and found out it was a big doll.

THE STORM

As the wind rustled, Tom, the brave young teenage boy was running as fast as he could when suddenly a storm was heading his way. He could see a steep stream. As he dived into it the storm went over him...

As he was getting up his friend passed him saying “where were you i was out every where looking for you?”

“The storm didn’t you see it was heading my way i jumped into this stream to save my life.” said Tom while floating around like a baby in the stream.

“We better get home” said Tom in laughter.

              The prank!
One day, in the local park, there was a very cheeky child named Jack. Later on, a young and innocent girl named Rose was gently and swiftly swaying towards a pond. She did not know what shock she was in for. Meanwhile the mischievous boy put a pair of pants on top of some planks of wood. He also placed wellingtons on top of the wood and pants. Then he put the finished work of art into the pond to make it look like someone drowning. As the girl walked by she screeched to her heart’s content AAAAAAHHHHHHH....

The War Zone

BOOM... BOOM! went the terrifying tanks, which were owned by the Russian army, dominating the war zone. Me and my friend, Jimmy, ran as fast as our little legs could take us. Although we were tough and beefy, the petrifying war zone made us look like week wimps.

In front of us, lay a rusty and not getting any younger tank-a monster- a dominating item which reigned the battle field. Stable it looked, although we couldn’t tell. We couldn’t have stayed in its sight.

A storm was venturing towards us. Suddenly, Jimmy fell in a sloppy bog...

Festivals Week

Last week was festivals week. Year 5 and Year 6 did very similar work, for example we both made a advent wreath. We drew around our hands and then we cut them out and wrote five things that would make us a good high school pupil.
We learnt about three main religions, Christianity, Judaism and Islam, they were all really interesting.

We learnt about the Shabbat meal and what happens during the meal and we even made a bread that they eat with their meal, we a made a bread called 'challah' bread. It was very yummy!

We learnt about the three holy days for each religion, for Judaism it's Saturday (but they have the Shabbat on Friday; so that they can rest on Saturday. The holy day for Christianity is Sunday. Also the holy day for Islam is Friday.

We also talked about the differences and similarities between all of the three religions, here are a few of them:

                Similarities                   Differences
All three of                   The Jewish people have a case for their holy book.

            the religions
                   have a
                holy book,
                and a holy
                day.
